I've not been in England for 5 months. But, reading the news from afar, it's clear my fellow countrymen are ready to take their country back. So. When I return, I look forward to drinking tea (wait, that's Indian), eating battered fish (wait, that's Portuguese)...

England flags spark pride and concern amid anti-immigration protests
The red and white St George's Cross and the Union Jack flags have proliferated along streets across England in recent weeks in what supporters say is a campaign to show national pride, but others fear is part of growing anti-immigration sentiment.

I'm not going to name any film in particular, 'cos I am not in the biz of publicly bad mouthing the work of others, but I am convinced the reason so many people think Gen AI videos are good is because they've had their standards lowered by two decades of mainstream cinema being visually plain.
Rewatching Spielberg's War of the Worlds, it's just another example of how BAD movies look these days, that film is 20 years old and it still looks better than 95% of blockbusters being released today.

Why? Because talent, skill and style beats money and modern special effects.

This is actually very clever because like their human counterparts, AI MPs will be confidently wrong, a bit racist, unwilling to ever give an honest opinion of their own making and also probably destroy the planet.
Introducing the first AI prototype of a British MP🇬🇧🤖

When constituent and local business owner, Jeremy Smith, approached me with this idea, I was very excited to work with him. The AI revolution is happening and we must embrace it to see how it can be useful, in all sectors.

Q should be the villain of the next Bond film.

Revealing that the ‘tech guy’, who has close ties to the government, is an alt-right nutjob would be… relevant.

The biggest thing I cannot wrap my head around with “AI stans” is, why do you want to work alone?

“We can replace everyone with bots!”

Okay. But why don’t you want to collaborate and hang out with others? Isn’t that literally what life is?

The extreme ‘pearl clutching’ reactions to KNEECAP and BOB VYLAN is a real sign of how safe and sterile a lot of mainstream music has been for a long time man.

Why are the cubicle doors in North American public restrooms so short? I’m only 5’8, if I can see over the top of a door that door is too small. Why don’t people in North American want to shit in peace, what’s going on?

ChatGPT is designed to make people lazier and stupider. It’s a feature not a bug
New research from MIT found that those who used ChatGPT can’t remember any of the content of their essays.

Key takeaway: the product doesn’t suffer, but the process does. And when it comes to essays, the process *is* how they learn.

Generative AI is slowly degrading the internet. More alarming is that before long, the technology’s unreliability may go unnoticed, writes Matteo Wong:
