Well the last time multiple age cohorts were fucked up by a global pandemic was...immediately following World War I. Nothing bad happened in those 30 years, right?
I am kind of optimistic that a lot of this is just multiple different age cohorts being made kind of insane by COVID and that we just have to ride the wave a little until the people who were too young to be really impacted by it come fully online. But that’s still like 30 years. Gonna be a wild time

Friends, we need to appreciate the situation of the wilfully ignorant as an equity-deserving group. Long excluded from the corridors of power by their own ineptitude, banished from political influence to the sound of the cruel laughter of voters, marginalized and ultimately ejected from colleges...

CDC advisers make their first childhood vaccine edit
They voted 8-3 to recommend delaying the use of a measles, mumps, rubella and chicken pox vaccine that about 15 percent of children receive.

I know we keep focusing on Colbert and Kimmel as we should, but we also need to remember there are hundreds of people who work for these shows who also just lost their jobs because of this bullshit, and most of them are probably not millionaires.

It's hard to write about a complex visa program in a way that can resonate with everyone. But @maxblau.bsky.social and Zaydee Sanchez did it with the narrative of a single woman, told with such respect and care.

This isn't anything that actually needed to be done. The federal government has plenty of options at its disposal if it thinks someone is providing material support for terrorism. It's one of things that keeps the FBI loaded up with anti-terrorism dollars, thanks to its ability to radicalize people just so it can arrest them. But it's the expected forward movement by the Trump administration, which has empowered the State Department to engage in…

This is an agent of the US federal government, armed for live-fire combat against a modern army, slamming a passive and nonviolent female candidate for the US Congress into asphalt.

Then walking away without checking if she has injuries, with his identity concealed behind a black facemask.
moments ago, ice agents again came out of the broadview detention/“professing” facility to escort a silver suv out of the lot.

one of the agents picked up and threw congressional candidate kat abughazaleh to the ground.
