The media trots out the "deplorable" comment from a decade ago to castigate the left. Once a week now Trump implies that the military should destroy democrats, and it is just how things are.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

With this vote, Congress makes ICE the highest-funded federal law enforcement agency in history, with more money per year at its disposal over the next four years than the budgets of the FBI, DEA, ATF, US Marshals, and Bureau of Prisons combined.

From the Cato Institute; this one is worth reading.

Topline: "nonpublic data from ICE indicate that the government is primarily detaining individuals with no criminal convictions of any kind."

Don't let their lies dominate the narrative.

65 Percent of People Taken by ICE Had No Convictions, 93 Percent No Violent Convictions
ICE’s deportation agenda is not what is being advertised to the American public. ICE is not interested in prioritizing public safety, yet it constantly pretends that anyone who objects to its tactics ...

KTLA - Narciso Barranco, a father to three sons who are all US Marines, pepper-sprayed and punched in the face by alleged federal immigration officers while he was working as a landscaper at an IHOP. He was then forced into the back of an unmarked car in Santa Ana.
Masked men in U.S. Border Patrol vests take Santa Ana father after repeatedly hitting him

Think about what it says to talk about a 67 year old, even leaving aside how awful he is, as “the future” of anything.

Solipsistic octogenarian cowards anointing a Medicare-eligible ex-governor who resigned in disgrace the future captain of the sinking ship. What a party.
That Clyburn thinks Andrew Cuomo is part of the future of the Democratic Party - and points to his character!!! — is the problem with the current Democratic Party leadership in a nutshell.

It's worth listening to the accompanying narration, because it underscores how incompatible Trump's agenda is with the history of the US Army, whose true glory was in defeating the Confederacy in the 19th century and defeating Nazism in the 20th.

Trump seeks to undo the political legacies of both.

We hear that immigrants are "freeloaders," yet they're being arrested at their workplaces.

We hear that immigrants "just need to follow the law," but when they attempt to, they're rounded up at courthouses.

It is 100% carrying water for the opposition to participate in this collective delusion that Dems for some reason need to answer for every teen who throws a rock rather than hold the Trump admin accountable for intentionally creating chaos and breaking the law to stoke violence.

They are in charge.

All the people I still know in LA laugh and laugh when they hear that "Los Angeles is burning." I made a couple of maps to show just how tiny and localized the protests are. GOPers are working really hard to make an excuse for declaring martial law. People should be very wary of that.

So, to be clear, Musk has now admitted he funded a man he believes to be a pedophile to be president.

And Trump has now admitted that he gave access to high level government secrets to a man he believes to be a big time drug addict.

This should be *the* story on the Sunday shows tomorrow.

Then their sovereign wealth fund poured money into Kushner’s investment company. Kushner is “advising” Trump on ME policy now.

Having now watched the footage and interview two of the members who were there, the amount of armed, masked federal agents surrounding three members of Congress and a mayor outside the ICE facility was totally unnecessary; the only possible reason for it was intentional escalation and intimidation.
