It's 2024, right after the election, the only description that fits is "sad, tired, and grieving".

So... uh... where do I take a void I've been screaming into when it's full? Is there, like, a recycling center or something?

The chutzpah of a white man to tell women, people of color, and LGBTQ students that removing their support systems is "valuable" for them. It's obscene.

I am *so* happy to have a flavor of autism, adhd, and anxiety that compels me to doublecheck shit. Like, I don't trust my own memory 100%, and I sure as heck don't trust a salesman's promise.

So I kinda live with an abiding belief that I don't know enough and some of what I know is wrong.
Starting to feel like most humans aren’t equipped to deal with something that confidently lies and communicates those lies with a fluency almost no actual humans possess
This is fascinating: www.reddit.com/r/OpenAI/s/I...

Someone “worked on a book with ChatGPT” for weeks and then sought help on Reddit when they couldn’t download the file. Redditors helped them realized ChatGPT had just been roleplaying/lying and there was no file/book…

BEGGING LIBERALS TO READ THIS
Research from 2022 that every Democrat apologist should chew on:
“We do not find any evidence that accommodative strategies reduce radical right support. If anything, our results suggest that they lead to more voters defecting to the radical right.“

My most disturbing thing is when my grandparents died from it
RFK Jr’s ACIP pick, Martin Kulldorff, said one of the most disturbing images from the pandemic was a toddler crying about having to wear a mask. I see toddlers cry about everything all the time, and I found it far more disturbing to see refrigerator trucks full of body bags outside of the hospitals…

NEW from me — ICE is actively searching for job candidates with backgrounds in construction management and engineering via a third party recruitment agency. This comes on the heels of the @aclu.org uncovering ICE's plan to expand their detention facilities in 10 states.

My report:
ICE is actively hiring for construction-related jobs
It's unclear what types of projects they'll be serving.

Being anti trans is a core part of being a fascist. It's not a distraction, it's not one of their minor side issues. It is a core value

If someone is trying to get you to be anti trans it is likely because they're trying to onboard you
1. Stephen Miller took to the presidential podium in the White House Press Room to celebrate Trump's first 100 days.

When he did so, he promoted new pushes to indoctrinate kids on how to be "patriots," including apparently being anti-trans.

The latest from S. Baum.

It was never about “parental rights” or “the children.” It’s fascism.

It is crazymaking watching 20 straight years - from Iraq to the 08 financial crisis to Trump - of the left being constantly derided for being correct on the merits by the people who got everything disastrously wrong and suffered no penalties except being posted at.

I must say I no longer believe that this is reminiscent of the Nazi playbook, I believe they’re using the Nazi playbook - offshore extermination and concentration camps, targeting people on basis of race and manufactured legality, academic onslaught, media, gender policing it’s all there.

The US tariffs were designed by dipshit sex pest failsons asking chatgpt to regurgitate a trade policy for them, it's literally a chatgpt tax on Americans.

Calling it the chatgpt tax on American consumers kills two fucked up birds with one stone

Just another time a Democrat proves they only listen to or court votes from Republicans... who will never ever vote for them.

Why do these utterly evil people opposed to my existence have to be so thoroughly stupid? This isn't good politics under any sane perspective, except joining GOP hate.
In a leaked recording, State Senator Elena Parent (D-42) said she’d vote for Republican transgender healthcare bans because trans rights are too “unpopular."

"You can go right to heck. I don’t think I will lose re-election based on you screaming at me"

No Other Land has won this year's Oscar for best documentary. This is a big deal.

Despite being worthy of an Oscar, the film has NOT been able to find distribution in the US because it's about the forced displacement of Palestinians from their homes by Israel.

There is *no* value in a product that gives you wrong answers fast, with confidence.

Twitter users did that for free.

Basic understanding of statistical analysis, or philosophy, or AI training can tell you that you can *never* automate fact-checking, because you cannot derive "truth" statistically

a nice reminder to the press that there is nothing you can do to pacify these people or buy yourself leniency
this appears to be based entirely on subscriptions for Politico Pro that many govt agencies pay for. but it doesn't matter, this is now fact for roughly half the country for eternity and will be used to do whatever they want.

This happened to me in Trump 1.0 when I called in and the dude said, “wow lots of calls about this issue today!” and I asked how many is a lot and he said “Seventeen!”

Motivates me to pick up the phone every time.
Found out that TWENTY emails is considered a lot to politicians on an issue.

TWENTY.

As in, they call that getting slammed.

So next time you see a request to email your rep, or call, keep that in mind.

TWENTY is a lot.
