Heavy multi-billion dollar fines to Roblox, TikTok and Discord until they got moderation in gear (or went bankrupt) would be way more effective at keeping children safe than making adults need to give ID to talk to people or see images because a machine learning model thought it was inappropriate.

Since this has now been patched, reminder for next time: When a hugely useful exploit like this is available, *keep quiet about it for a few months*. If you can prevent any news articles or youtube videos for long enough that the developers move to other projects, we usually get to keep it forever.
An exploit for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Switch 2 allows players to summon almost anything via Autobuild Sharing. No modding is involved; all it takes is the right QR code to bring forth a legion of new friends.
