IDK, from the inside looking out, it's nicer. More daylight during the day. At night it still helps to open the room more. It's a balance between privacy (@ night you're on display) and openness, and often fresh air; not being isolated from the world outside.

The Founders, leaning on their knowledge of antiquity, thought they defeated the problem of self-interest with a constitutional republic & three branches of government to check & balance interests. But free association allows for political parties which has destroyed our system of government.
