Love this shot of Jesse in NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2 approaching a gay bar like it's the basement to his tormented mind. Found this strangely affecting, messy as sequel, but a potent psychosexual standalone turning Freddie into a parasitic tulpa born of a closeted queer boy's dread & self-loathing.

Apart from everything else, the idea of art specifically tailored "for your tastes" makes no sense because the way you develop tastes is by encountering art and having a reaction to it.

My George Miller tweet hit big, so I’ll push my luck. I played Dark Souls 2 searching and craving for any connection to the first game’s story. Its steadfast denial to give me Little Treats and instead present continuations of themes puts it miles ahead of DS3’s callback bombs.

BIG Herculaneum Papyrus news today!

Several of the prize winners in the Vesuvius Challenge formed a super collaboration, and have built a tool that made 5% of the scroll readable!!

The challenge uses CT scanning, and other imaging to virtually unroll and read a charred papyrus without damage. (1)
