We went through this with zoning, and now we're going through it with building code: trillion dollar industries depend on these things, yet a bunch of precocious bloggers can swoop in and expose these institutions as full of pseudoscience. Does nobody do their job? @aarmlovi.bsky.social

Hard to predict where this is all headed but I don’t think you can build a successful presidency and political movement based on taking everything away from everyone as quickly as possible.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is booed by protesters as he announces Trump is cutting off funding for high-speed rail between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Instead of dealing with all the planes crashing everywhere, the former “Real World” star is abandoning investments in US infrastructure.

When you move around primarily or exclusively by car, you may not see the evidence of car crashes around you:

bent sign posts
broken car pieces
broken windshield glass
tire marks, etc.

For those who travel by 🚶🏻, 🚲 & 🚌 these reminders are everywhere on sidewalks & streets.

@bambulabglobal.bsky.social why are you breaking compatibility with third party tools with your latest firmware update? Why do you think you should only profit from the work of the community and then lock them out once you've established market share? Regretting my A1 purchase.
