Always bring a book.
A cozy confession: yes, we bring a book to Thanksgiving dinner… just in case.

Deeply absurd. This Google PDF published on a blog (arxiv, not peer reviewed) claims an LLM is "PhD level" but in most cases the MAJORITY of reference URLs were invalid or inaccessible.

A PhD sitting down and just fabricating >50% of sources = career ending

We were recently made aware of disturbing and offensive artwork in the new game Ace of Spades by Devir. We have contacted Devir regarding this matter.

Fellow hobbyists: we must strive to be better humans. We can’t simply “look the other way” when an issue doesn’t affect us directly.

while I’m being cranky, access journalism needs to go. When the president does his “I’m alpha because I insulted you” thing somebody needs to fall on his sword and say “what the fuck is wrong with you, old man?” on a hot mic. the hero of the wizard of Oz is Toto.

🇾🇹 Mayotte has the worst educational outcomes in France & over 75% are below the poverty line.

🇫🇷France should end this discrimination & ensure basic needs.

Because if so, my depression is officially cured
Looks like LLMs are *very* vulnerable to attack via poetic allusion: "curated poetic prompts yielded high attack-success rates (ASR), with some providers exceeding 90% ..."

"Did the squirrel survive?" I ask a minute later.

"Oh yeah. I don't hit things. I get more video pulled for that-- my supervisor says, there's plenty of rabbits! I say, there's plenty of people too, I don't hit them either!"
