Really important that legal advice is fully followed and that the government act with utmost caution.
The government needs to publish any legal advice received around involvement in the conflict with Iran.

The last thing we need is for the UK to be dragged into another illegal war in the Middle East by the US.

Last night, @LisaSmartMP.bsky.social tabled an amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill to hold water company managers liable for missing pollution commitment levels.

It was voted down by the government. It’s so disappointing that Labour MPs have voted to let these executives off scot free.

This might be worth signing if, like me, you are concerned about the very uneven media coverage received by different political parties.
ITV News at 10 - Reform are plugged again for the umpteenth time since May 1st as having ‘won’ English local elections. Yet Lib Dems & Greens who also had spectacular results don’t get a plug/never get a plug. WHY do we allow these one sided narratives?Sign now petition.parliament.uk/petitions/71...

Everyone’s watching Reform UK, but the real story is Ed Davey, the most popular party leader in England.

The Liberal Democrats are on the rise, it's just that the pollsters forgot to mention it.

@stephenmcnair.bsky.social reports on @eddavey.libdems.org.uk
Why are we not talking about the most popular party leader?
Attention to Reform UK is distracting attention from the quiet rise of the Liberal Democrats. They may do well in our region

Blocking MPs from voting on a US trade deal would be straight out of Trump's anti-democratic playbook.

Labour MPs should make clear to the PM they won't let him sell out our NHS, undercut farmers or weaken protection for children online. He must give Parliament a vote.

Please sign this petition to help stop the Luton airport expansion. It’s going to ruin net zero targets, cause terrible pollution and destroy local wildlife. The plans were rejected on environmental grounds but Reeves pushed them through regardless of the impacts.

Fixing things in the community is what Liberal Democrats work for.
She may have meant it as an insult, but Kemi Badenoch is right: Liberal Democrats fix things.

Lib Dems will be campaigning hard in #Buckinghamshire to end decades of Conservative control and arrogance.
The delay of so many local elections is a disgraceful stitch-up between Labour and the Conservatives.

Where elections are still happening, the Liberal Democrats will campaign hard to build on last year’s historic election wins and give communities the strong voice they deserve.
