Pay the mortgage, make improvements, replace appliances. Be able to afford medical care/meds/surgery not covered by the province. Get a new mattress after ~25 years. Professionally frame my kid's grad photo & diploma. Save up to hire an editor. Stop panicking about money, start breathing again.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?

Your yearly reminder that it’s almost time to prepare the prune Krampus
Forget cheese and pineapple hedgehog, every party needs an edible Krampus. Especially knowing how much children love prunes.

Tillis said, "'[T]here’s a $300 billion shortfall in our mutual defense,'"

No, stupid. The 2% of GDP that NATO member nations agreed to spend is on each of our OWN countries' defence.

It's not money that Canada owes to the US or to NATO. Don't try to extort 🇨🇦 for $300B, fucking MAGA GOP gangsters.

Such garbage. We're not the instigators in this situation & they know it. Not once do they mention the repeated threats of annexation. The tariffs aren't Canada's doing, nor our job to end. If they've got problems, they should talk to their own administration.

AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
