At my #writing group's meetup a new member mentioned using AI to 'organize' her notes, and it took all I had not to leap over the table and yell things.
Took a breath, then gently explained why #writers *HATE* AI.
Hope she takes it to heart and stops feeding the ocean-boiling plagiarism machine.😒

Gonna remind of the obvious: what companies are calling "ai" is not intelligent. It's a predictive language or image regurgitater. It's literally complicated dice spitting out clouds of letters or color. It was never more than a gimmick and is now an industrial scale theft machine. Drop. It.

Also, we have two projects in the works for later this year that should be fun! #WritingCommunity #Writers

Great job everybody! Melania: Devourer of Men is number one across the board. Remember to pass the word: download this free ebook so that we completely screw up Melania T's algorithm this weekend.

Wow, is that ever gorgeous!
And now I can say I've seen cereal charts in a comic book. 😁
Free Planet vol 1 is now available EVERYWHERE; dive into the critically acclaimed geopolitical space opera that ComicBook.com called "one of the best sci-fi comics of this year--and potentially all time."

Midnight. A light flickers on in the darkness. Coils of smoke hang in the projector's glow. The movie is about to begin, and the theater waits in breathless silence.

BLACK FLAME is finally here. You can get it at the link below, and wherever books are sold.

Catherine O'Hara was tremendous. She could do anything. Go watch A MIGHTY WIND and see her pull off being effortlessly funny and unselfaware, a near-impossible thing to project onscreen, before she turns around and melts your heart.

What a loss, man.

As AI develops: This goes for writing too.
if youre an artist, dont stop drawing. ever. the second you think "i cant keep up with AI, i shouldnt draw anymore" youve let AI win. the only way we can retort is by continuing to use our own, human creativity, and skills weve honed over the years. AI can never replicate soul

And heartlessly block #AISlop whenever and wherever you come across it. Stomp that weed OUT.😒
Pitchfork is out here telling us how to reckon with "AI Music is here to stay".

Here's how to live with it: don't listen to it, don't patronize it, don't pay money for it, don't share it.
