Look, as a Tasmanian who just survived Christmas Day 2025, I think it’s safe to say that even though Neil Finn wrote Four Seasons in One Day about Melbourne, if he’d lived in Tassie first it would’ve been a big hit for Split Enz.

Has anybody got experience with ceiling fan rebalancing kits?

I need them for a couple of our fans and I don't remotely trust any of the ones I have seen online to be spun around the ceiling at high speed for years on end without killing a family member.

I would love high quality recommendations.

Hey #auslaw peeps,
What are your favourite examples of consent judgments agreed to by Australian courts?
What are your *least* favourite examples?
Are there any notable consent judgments in employment law that someone screwed over by HR should know about?

How about that NACC?
Are we going to get to the election without them delivering a single successful corruption investigation?

The Electoral "reform" Bill is, tbh a crock that will lock in the major parties and squeeze independents and new entrants.

Tasmanians. Be aware Tas Health has updated their alert to COVID - Moderate-increasing. They do not put it to Moderate until it's really quite prevalent and even at its highest never changed it to High. SO it's quite prevalent. Take care

It's good people are catching on that the social media ban will mean everyone will have to have their ages checked - not just teens. Though I still feel a lot won't realise until they go to log in one day after it's in and then there will be outrage about it 🥴
