When my Uncle and Aunty is were renting they were able to save and build their first home. When they gave three months notice to their landlord he said "Congratulations don't pay rent for the next three months, put it in your mortgage to get ahead of the loan"

That they don’t make that practice illegal as they increase commonwealth rent assistance is a fact that has falsely inflated the #Housing #market. Rent increases need to be capped at or lower than increases to the CPI and rent assistance should ensure enough to pay bills and live after rent. #auspol
