Guess I’ll have to see how the manga wraps to see where it takes its extended metaphor of puberty (and some adults’ exploitation of it, very sus actions in a deliberate way), but hard to have much takeaway from the anime’s end, especially with the weird shock ending before cut to credits. Hope the-
173. Alien Nine (anime): feels like it pulls punches a bit, not expecting Narutaru levels of fucked, but it feels creepy enough that it seems like it will promise some apocalyptic payoff with really bold imagery but feels a bit tame. Still neat though, but surprised the anime is incomplete. 7/10
