The Great Lakes are too precious to risk.
Giving Enbridge a free pass to build an oil tunnel in the Great Lakes, and Michigan risking it all just for a foreign corporate polluter? No thanks. It’s time to reject Enbridge’s tunnel plan and #ShutDownLine5.

President of Ukraine:

Let's look at Russia's history since 1991.

It keeps bringing war and hatred from Chechnya to the Balkans, from Moldova to Syria, from countries in Central Africa to Ukraine.

Russia chooses conflict over peace.

Under Trump:
- The economy has slowed, heading towards recession now
- Inflation is rising, most things cost more
- His cutting of energy subsidies is driving up utility prices
- He's taken 100s of billions from health care/food assistance in a war on working people
- He's making measles great again
A few points here:
- Over 300,000 jobs on average were created each month of Biden Presidency
- In the last 3 months of his Presidency the average was 203,000
- Only 64,000 jobs were created last month, and the unemployment rate has risen from 4 to 4.6 under Trump

This Trump thing ain't working.
Are we in a recession?

Perhaps. Maybe. Hard to tell.

The Sahm Rule focuses on the 3-month average unemployment rate, and asking if it's risen half a point above its year-long low.

The low was 4.0% in January.

The latest (average of Sept & Nov, with Oct missing): 4.5%.

That's +0.5%.

Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.

No governmental agency has conducted an independent review of the Line 5 tunnel project. A “trust us” pinky promise from a company like Enbridge isn’t good enough.

Demand @GovWhitmer and @MichiganEGLE conduct a comprehensive review of the proposed Great Lakes tunnel.

Republicans have tried to repeal the ACA over 70 times over the last 15 years. They've had 15 years to come up with a replacement plan.

15 years later? They have no plan.

And today they voted to spike healthcare premiums for over half a million Michiganders.

China was the largest export market for American farmers in 2024. They bought 27 metric tons of soybeans last year. They stopped buying in 2025 when Trump started his trade war. These are simple, obvious, basic facts. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Leavitt: "President Trump convinced President Xi to continue purchasing again American soybeans, which is something China wasn't doing under the last administration because they had no respect for President Biden or the country at the time."

They want to repeat lies to make them true in people's minds. Every time you hear these lies, remind people that Biden left Donald Trump an economy that The Economist called envy of the world. ZERO% chance of a recession. Donald's regime has dragged it down into a stagflation.
Karoline Leavitt lies with impunity on Fox & Friends: "Don't forget -- a year ago, President Trump inherited the worst inflation crisis in modern American history from the Biden administration."

This has largely been memory-holed but in Trump 1.0, he picked a big public trade fight with China. They retaliated by cutting off agriculture purchases, farmers got squeezed, Trump mailed them checks and had to go crawling back to Xi for a face-saving "deal".

Sound familiar?
