Many people still don't realise that cutting CO2 can also cut your cost of living. Electric vehicles are cheap to run. Better insulation reduces a building's heating bills. Photovoltaic panels earn money and reduce electricity bills. Heat pumps are cheaper to run than gas heating. etc

The US already devotes more than 40 million acres to growing corn for ethanol fuel production.

If only ~1/3 of that land were converted to solar PV, it could generate enough electricity to cover the entire country's electricity needs.
