The White House has been boasting about the revenue that its tariffs are raising.
And now their argument to the Supremes is that the President has imposed regulatory tariffs, not revenue-generating tariffs, and so case isn't about the power to tax. (Nonsense, obv.)

Not surprisingly, the Rep didn’t answer the question put to him. Hospital EDs are not profit centers. Staffing is bare-boned, supplies cut-rate. The true money is in reimbursable procedures (surgery, endoscopy, colonoscopy, chemo).

I can say there are millions of people who have been given vaccines and who take a variety of medications, including acetaminophen, who do not have autism.

It’s not just FLAS. It’s all the Title VI area studies centers. And dozens of labs & postdocs & research opportunities for undergrads funded by NSF and NIH grants. All gone. But the public won’t be aware of the actual consequences unless our leaders loudly & collectively explain to them the crisis.
Again, you cannot unplug 1/4-1/5 of an R1 university's budget & expect the same quantity or quality of "things" on campus. The math simply doesn't work. And pretending it does & we can uphold our "core values," & not talking loudly & publicly about how it doesn't, is not a strategy. It's madness.

Heard from #AHRQ that the entire grants staff has been let go! They are unable to issue funds for grants already funded, let alone fund new grants. This is outrageous and will make Americans poorer and sicker. Why? A brief thread about just some recent AHRQ-funded research: #MedSky #HealthPolicy
