All of this. Plus, did they have disappearing messages on and at what interval? That’s just for my curiosity.
Some questions that Mike Waltz and the others must answer:
1) How did he preserve the thread and others for PRA
2) What phones were everyone using
3) What kind of security do those phones have
4) WHERE were they using those phones
5) What else is on the phones
6) Why was Joe Kent included

Ceding one of our greatest strengths to China. A stunning betrayal of America power.

Biden was a highly successful president on the domestic policy front. He got shit done. He just didn’t pay to ensure people knew it was happening. Relied on a broken and polluted information ecosystem. It’s not that complicated. In 2025 YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR INFORMATION DELIVERY.
The path back to power for the Democratic Party is to be the party that gets shit done.

There is no awakening coming where Americans revert back to norms, because the info ecosystem won’t allow it.
wow. they're like actually braindead

Being a historian, people ask me if I think the US is living through Germany 1933.

I answer no, analogies are always imperfect but to me it feels more like Russia 1999: a blatant theft of state assets and liberals in a fugue state, refusing to believe the arc of progress is bending against them.

Nations around the globe running into China’s open arms as Trump proves untrustworthy and belligerent.
Intentionally or unintentionally, the White House doing stuff like this is going to leave the impression that was an ambush, which might do even more damage to America's international reputation than what just unfolded.
A text from a White House advisor to me:

“The Germans innocuous acceptance and practice of social antisemitism before Hitlerism undermined the resistance of their ordinary decency to stigmatization and persecution to come.”

In getting used to casual snack bites of hate, Germans became inured to far more horrific crimes against humanity.
Reading THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE FREE—Milton Mayer’s interviews of 10 “ordinary” German Nazis:

“Nazism overcame Germany not by attack from without or subversion from within, but with a whoop and a holler. It was what most Germans wanted or—under pressure of combined reality and illusion—came to want”

What these nihilistic vandals are doing to dismantle science & medicine—generations of expertise & public service & life improving benefits—is cultural revolution level national self harm. No foreign foe could inflict such brutal damage & senseless suffering on US so fast & effectively & unresisted.

Gonna be a boon for the seed oil folks. RFK will fix all this, I am sure.

This was always the game. Tech’s turn rightward was based on one thing and one thing only. Getting governments to buy the artificially scarce resource that they own. It’s an utterly useless technology. They are modern day gold bugs simply enriching themselves by buying the government they want.
“This is an enormous heist. They’re just backing the truck up to the government in front of all of us. A massive bailout to the crypto world,” says @chrislhayes.bsky.social on the GOP crypto bill.

Remember the FBI informant who claimed President Biden took millions in bribes from Burisma?

He admitted today in federal court that he made the whole thing up.

And that he started spinning new lies after meeting with Russian intelligence.

Now Elon has a digital lynch mob to intimidate his critics.
