Johnson’s cull of MPs prepared to tell the truth about Brexit consigned the Tories to the absurdity & irrelevance they currently enjoy. The media’s pitiful complicity in & failure to explain this lets Farage move in to the vacated space despite embodying the stupidity & bigotry that did for them.

- Family Hubs
- Renters Rights
- Workers Rights
- Nationalising rail
- investment in buses/trams
- Nationalising Steel
- Greatest investment in NHS

Matt Hancock says his “protective ring” around care homes was just “rhetoric”.

This is deeply insulting to all those who lost loved ones. Empty, misleading rhetoric is no way to deal with a national emergency and can be deadly.

Matt Hancock accused of insulting 'memory of every COVID victim' over inquiry comments
When the pandemic hit in early 2020, hospital patients were rapidly discharged into care homes - but there was no policy requiring them to be tested for COVID before admission.

I have linked above to the Hansard version of the speech, as that contains the full damning assessment of the Tories legacy. The version on .gov.uk has had to be sanatised to remove 'political content', haha.

Can many people name the chairman of Labour, Tories, Lib Dems or Greens?

How often does an unelected bureaucrat get the 8:10 interview on Radio 4?

Completely disproportionate media coverage of Zia Yusuf saga
Why do Reform get a daily BBC News “Breaking” alert?

Zia Yusuf isn’t an elected MP and has had two stories and a tiny by-election got a National (or international?) breaking news alert

No breaking story for Attenborough warning future king of ecocide?!
