Farage on pronouns - "I" when he claims it shows his commitment to Clacton. "We" when it turns out he lied. "They" when it saves him £44,000 in stamp duty.

We are calling this "Raise the Colours (or, The Ballad of Little Bobby Jenrick)"

It's a musical commentary on #raisethecolours, celebrating Robert Jenrick's latest social media antics, with a ukelele gradually going out of tune.

That an unelected advisor does not want to "appease" elected MPs speaks volumes for the way party strategists think about Parliament.

MPs are there to represent the concerns of their constituents.

Govts that stop listening to MPs - like Thatcher on the poll tax or Blair on Iraq - usually regret it
Succinct summary.

Last year my wife had breast cancer and a double mastectomy.

This morning, for the first time ever, she was challenged in the changing rooms at the swimming pool. Her breasts were not what make her a woman - but, breasts or not, she is entitled to dignity and protection from vigilantes.

🙌🏼 I’m not sure who had the amazing idea to invite this constitutional lawyer to a senate hearing that *intended* to prove Biden colluded with Meta to censor conservatives.

But she took the opportunity to speak truth to power ✊🏼 on the hypocrite 👑 KING OF FREE SPEECH, Donald Trump, himself. 👏🏼 Brava!

Musk and Trump, Laurel and Hardy. One smaller emotionally insecure one, one big fat angry one. Supposedly on the same team, always arguing, everything they touch turns to sh1t.

Putting a positive spin on the current state of the world. Trump turning the US into a haven for white supremacists offers every other country in the world a competitive advantage by simply using the talents of all the people.

I used to think "journalists" just regurgitated press releases, but it seems they can't even do that. Today Apple have put out a story headlined "Apple to spend more than $500 billion..." and both the Times and Guardian have stories headlined "Apple to invest..."

I remember how we laughed that as America was late to the last two world wars it would be early to the next one. Don't remember thinking they would be on the other side, but here we are.

I believe the Earth is actually a custard filled globe, hardened by fire and caramel along the upper crust. Yes, I have founded the Flan Earth Society. I even wrote some stories about it. It's decent flan fiction.
