What with the folks that will need sacked from this McSkimming coverup and those that should be sacked for adding fake clicks to their breath testing numbers, it's gonna be pretty tricky for Mark Mitchell to get his extra 500 cops, eh?

Links within the Herald’s article on McSkimming to other articles about gangs’ criminal activities seems very apt given the jokes that the Police are simply another gang but in a State mandated uniform.

My analysis: A series of failures, missteps and bruised egos have taken Te Pāti Māori from the highs of victory to the depths of a political crisis of infighting and scandal.

Once a rising political star, Te Pāti Māori collapses in on itself
Comment: The Māori party will struggle to regain the trust of its constituents while its leaders refuse responsibility for the party's political crisis, writes Marc Daalder.

The student loan scheme is predicated on the idea of a huge private benefit from tertiary education.

I think its fair to say if you haven't repaid it by the time you retire, you did not get that benefit, and the loan should be wiped.

It also disproportionately impacts on women who go back to retrain later in life- mostly after time at home engaging in care duties.
