My mantra for this era: I want to shut my eyes tonight and wake up tomorrow in a better world. With every moment between now and then, I will strive to earn that world.

Stay strong, Sydney. Nobody should ever have to experience violence or terror or grief like this.

My most fundamental belief is that we do not have to live like this.

Yeah speaking as a very very far leftist I actually think it's good to shun detestable people from society. That doesn't mean I want to exclude them from the social safety net or whatever, I want our society to *provide for* everyone, but racists should be shouted down whenever they open their mouth
i also believe in building a better world for workers. i also believe that all people are entitled to respect and dignity and that there ought to be social sanction for those who openly degrade others. you call me a “n*gger” to my face and i am not going to smile and shake your hand.

do not, my friends, become addicted to streaming

it will take hold of you, and you will resent its absence

Please just download your music. You can even do it legit through Bandcamp and whatnot. Buy CDs/records and rip them yourself. I have been doing this for over 20 years.

For those keeping score at home: all of our congresspeople in NH ( @goodlander.house.gov, @repchrispappas.bsky.social, @shaheen.senate.gov, @hassan.senate.gov) also voted Yea on Laken Riley, breaking with Senator Schumer and Rep. Jeffries
Respectfully, Congresswoman, you voted with Republicans to strip due process from immigrants and to praise Trump's ICE. This year.

Now you're upset?

Votes have consequences. Minnesotans deserve better.
ICE agents followed a Burnsville family home from the store, failed to present a warrant and entered their home with guns drawn. They detained 4 legal citizens who presented documentation, leaving a 7 year-old without parents.

A seven-year-old. Let that sink in. Trump’s ICE is out of control.

What a monstrous individual. What a deeply atrophied soul. If he weren't so detestable I would pity him, but he chose to be a villain, so he gets none of my goodwill

I always loooved @gameinformer.com for this and somehow they brought it back 👀
Back in the glorious old days, we had magazines. And the front cover would have a popular game on it. People would buy the mag for that, and then hear about all sorts of other stuff the journalists think you should know about. The mags were paid for by the readers... it was a solid model
yeah the harsh reality is that we do take a chance on small games no one's heard of a lot more often than anyone thinks we do. but literally no one reads the articles, which then reinforces to the powers that be that they're not worth doing. I don't know how to solve that problem!

No matter how hard people try to convince us that diversity is a weakness,

No matter how hard people try to convince us that love is limited,

it is unlimited.

Notice Mamdani charmed Trump on live TV without backing down on any stances. He didn't water himself down, he didn't even take back calling Trump a fascist. Moderates would say butter him up, or try to appear more right-wing. Voters can see through that—and evidently so does he!
