Trump: "They're gonna make DC a state and they're gonna make Puerto Rico a state. So now they pick up two states, four senators. They're gonna pick up electoral votes. It's gonna be a very, very bad situation. Now, if we do what I'm saying, they'll most likely never obtain power."

Sorry I didn’t have a full report tonight on the Ninth Circuit, but …
A friend was in town tonight and I was able to take him to the one and only 17th Street High Heel Race.

Yet another reminder that DC is better than Donald Trump could ever fathom.

I finally cancelled today, loss of the metro section cinched it. Been dragging my feet b/c I'm irrationally attached to the Post--50 years ago I learned to read with its comics and kids sections.

The Baltimore Banner's new MoCo coverage will fill some of this void, but still.

Interesting, the only group of people in America that trusts mass media is Democrats over 50. That's not a good demographic to have if you are trying to grow and make a comeback. news.gallup.com/poll/695762/...

ICE is running around Chicago harassing people for not being white.

Just a year ago, that was illegal in the United States and now it’s commonplace.

That’s not making America great again.

Government workers on paid leave will officially lose their jobs tomorrow as the fiscal year comes to an end.

A looming shutdown next week could delay pay for remaining workers, with contractors not usually eligible for back pay.

As the UN General Assembly opens with flags, speeches, and talk of rights and democracy, a quiet coup unfolds — not in parliaments, but in the invisible infrastructure of the internet, writes Konstantinos Komaitis. Digital rights and free expression are under attack — who will defend them?
