Robert Wilson has left us at 83.
The stage dims. Time slows.
A train floats by in silence.
A chair descends from the rafters.
Light like a scalpel.
Stillness that screamed.
He didn’t direct and design plays.
He dreamed them—then let us walk inside.

I still don’t know who you are, bluesky, but I want to say this – I’ve been meaning to read Bolaño for years now. Tonight the night to pick him up. The Savage Detectives. I’d expected him to be difficult but worth it. In fact he’s hilarious a page turner, I’m smitten, swept away. Highly recommend.

I'm sorry, American friends, but we have to take back Superman, basketball, IMAX movies, egg cartons, and Keanu Reeves now. I wish it didn't have to be this way.
