Huge thanks to @mikehoney.bsky.social for all the valuable COVID data he tracks. His work has become incredibly important for scientists and health professionals, and with so little data available now, it really matters for people who want to stay safe and informed.

Spain may bring back indoor face mask rules as flu and COVID cases surge. Health leaders will meet on Dec 3 to decide whether masks should again be required in hospitals, health centers, and possibly other crowded indoor venues like cinemas or theatres to help reduce transmission.

Need to take a page or two out of the #NRL book. Leaving #AFL behind…

It frustrates me because knowing how important AFL is culturally in Victoria, I can't help but feel that the devaluing of #AFLW by the establishment devalues all women in Victoria , kind of like we're being shown our place in society and it's still "wait your turn".

72% of Australians support a total ban on gambling ads.

It’s been 881 days since the Murphy Report recommended that Parliament ban gambling advertising.

30% of Australian children aged 12 to 17 gamble - they lose nearly $20 million every year.
Gambling ad ban would pass parliament with conscience vote, Labor MP says
Macarthur MP Mike Freelander believes the multi-partisan support for restricting gambling advertising means the reforms will "get there" eventually.
