The Princess Diarist was also a great book by Carrie all about the behind the scenes of the Star Wars films
Carrie Fisher was an accomplished & witty writer. Her bestselling semi-autobiographical novel, 𝘗𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘥𝘨𝘦 (1987), satirized her struggles with addiction & her complex relationship with her mother. She adapted the novel into the screenplay for the 1990 film of the same name.
