So, which is it?

If this info wasn’t classified, that in itself would be a scandalous screw-up that must be explained.

And if it was classified, then the Trump administration lied to Congress and to the American people.

ICE detention facilities have a track record of abuse — and this facility is no different.

No one should be treated like this.

When I wrote my camps book, people sometimes had difficulty understanding how concentration-camp regimes were proud of what they were doing and wanted attention for it, even as they also hoped to keep many aspects secret and terrorize vulnerable classes. Anyway, this is what that looks like.

The House just passed a funding bill that would provide ICE with a nearly $10 billion blank check to detain and deport immigrant communities with few guardrails.

Senators have the power to stop this cruel waste of taxpayer dollars. They must use that power.

I hate to say this but our only quick solution to Trumpism is for the US to feel pain and a lot of pain. Norway is already refusing to refuel Navy warships. That’s a start? now we need more pain to wake up our politicians and Red citizenry to the dangerous incompetence of this administration.

I support the spending boycott today, but:

1) our role is *citizens* and *people who deserve lives* not "consumers"

2) if we boycott *consumerism* we take power away from corporations/billionaires

Take one step at a time, but be relentless.
