This is a though provoking video on why racism is so bad in the US. The psychological wage of being white explains why so many poor white folks vote against their interests. I may pin this video.

Gee I am getting old. Like to say I have obtained some wisdom as well but my wife Suz disagrees with that premise. Well that’s life.

Got most of these but not all, guess I am not that intelligent. I think I willl ask my wife Suz.

This is one of the classics. Three awesome actors in Wayne, Stewart and Marvin. It’s sad that many Gen Z and Millenials have no clue who they were or that these movies exist.

This fella is right, we can expect some type of blowback that may endanger the lives of US citizens. We will see. I don’t have secret service protection but I live in a small town in SC. I live here because natural disasters are rare. Terrorism is another matter.

David Boomer makes great points about the unfitness and criminality of Trump. In a sane world he would be removed from office by Congress. Instead the GOP will run and hide as usual

I post my dog Bella the dachshund all the time but just as adorable is my little rescue Pepita. When we adopted her from a rescue she was in rough shape. Her first 2 years of life were horrific. Her last four with my family have been a blessing for her and my family.

Tactically done well by our military, strategically, political and probably unlawful stupidity by the administration. This is a mistake that once again will end up harming our country’s reputation already diminished by Trump. Distraction from Epstein.

Despite what we are often told, this line from Mamdani’s inauguration speech is what true pragmatism actually looks like:

“Beginning today, we will govern expansively and audaciously. We may not always succeed. But never will we be accused of lacking the courage to try.”

Shamans in Peru gathered to make their annual predictions for the upcoming year. Some of those predictions were an illness for Donald Trump and the downfall of Nicolas Maduro.
The shamans said that Maduro will flee Venezuela, he won’t be captured and an end to the war in Ukraine is coming

Stephen Schwartz, the composer of 'Wicked,' says he'll no longer host a gala at the Kennedy Center.

"It no longer represents the apolitical place for free artistic expression it was founded to be,l Schwartz said. "There's no way I would set foot in it now."

When I joined the Navy in 1982, there were boot camps on both coasts in California and Florida where there are actually oceans. Both were both closed and consoldated in the boot camp in Illinois (Great Lakes) where there is no ocean. I never understood the logic.

I am retired Navy but don’t wear a Dixie Cup. Still I was honored to work alongside amazing sailors who did. What a privilege!

Army son and fiancé are still visiting and will leave in a couple days. It’s been a blessing to have them here. Tonight new board games. I highly recommend the board game Plunder and Pharoh’s Tomb an online escape room.

The artist would rather take a loss of revenue than a loss to their values. Good for them. Shut the place down till Trump leaves the scene.
