In regards to hot dog sentience, the bun acts as the exoskeleton with the consciousness in the meat itself. It's the pairing of the two that creates the complete sentient hot dog. This was the first thing they taught us at America orientation. Not sure how so many of you missed that.

I keep seeing Canadians asking why Americans aren’t taking Trump’s threats seriously, and the answer is not really Trump related, in my opinion.
I think it’s because Americans have an intense historical amnesia to international happenings that has been deeply cultivated in our society.

Honestly? I'd wish we didn't have a gender marker on our passport, like just remove it at this point.
Not only is it not necessary, it's already a better form of personal privacy than having to deal with possible problems for having the wrong gender marker.
