Juryo 1 Fujiseiun, on his first jungyo tour, had a banner day in Kakogawa (Hyogo) today (Dec 11)--first, by defeating former ozeki Kirishima in two consecutive bouts, and then with being selected by Yokozuna Hoshoryu for butsukari.

Especially pleased about his winning bouts versus Kirishima ...

Notice how the distraction caused by Charlie Kirk's murder/subsequent "canonization"/call for memorials has evaporated...
The murder was wrong, but Kirk was a piece of filthy garbage that wanted to destroy the United States of America & replace it with this dysfunctional dicatorship we now have!

I captured the Horsehead Nebula tonight and reframed a bit so I would also get a good shot of the Flame Nebula there on the left. These are just a couple of the interesting objects in the Orion constellation.

For reference, the big green star on the center left is the leftmost star in Orion’s Belt.

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

Public schools aren’t meant to be political training grounds. Partnering the state with a hyper-partisan activist group to embed chapters in every high school isn’t education — it’s ideological grooming, funded and sanctioned by government power. That should alarm us all.
