We talk of refusing unlawful orders, but really that's a very high bar. It's only for orders that are manifestly unlawful, something *obviously* illegal on the face of it. And the core example of that is refusing an order to wantonly murder noncombatants, which is exactly what they are doing.
Oddly enough, in media coverage of Dems' video warning against carrying out illegal orders, there's very little discussion of *whether it's actually reasonable to fear Trump is giving illegal commands or not.*
The evidence is strong that he is. Media should say so:

One of the other things clear from the replies to this is that Trump won again in 2024 in part bc many voters want a dictator. Lots of supposedly liberal folks are angry Biden didn't wave his magic wand & conjure nonexistent votes in Congress or cut interest rates without Jerome Powell's approval.

Worker productivity has exploded over my lifetime, but that never translates into higher pay or shorter hours. The benefits are reaped by the investor class while workers wages have gone down relative to inflation. Elon said this week that AI will make work “optional” in the future.🙄
