Wonderful story from @tylerkepner.bsky.social. Congrats, coach.
An MRI found a cancerous spot on Al LeBoeuf's hip. The cause? Getting hit by a pitch in 1985.

He shouldn’t be alive, but here he is — and he's MLB's oldest rookie on this year's Opening Day.

2/ Wear at least a KN95 mask or preferably an N95 respirator while outdoors. Seal home the best you can. Use a portable air cleaner (HEPA or CR Box) in spaces where you spend the most time (HEPA with a CADR of at least 300 cfm for smoke; a full "classic" CR Box can exceed this).

1/ Devastating to see images of fires in Los Angeles & impacts on those who live in the fire zone, their pets, & local wildlife. Thankful for firefighters.

If you live away from direct fire danger but are inhaling harmful wildfire smoke, you can substantially reduce the amount you inhale.
A rapidly growing wildfire raged across an upscale section of Los Angeles, destroying homes and creating traffic jams as 30,000 people evacuated beneath huge plumes of smoke that covered much of the metropolitan area reut.rs/3C2TioZ
