Where do our rights come from? Believe it or not, the United States has been rolling back our rights for 40 years. The biggest expansion of the peoples' rights in American history actually occurred between 1953 and 1969, during the period of American history known as the "Warren Court."

The hypocrisy doesn't matter because to admit the hypocrisy is to admit they've been fooled, and that requires an educated level of humility. Not to mention, Trump's hypocrisy has never really violated the 14 words. And that's what mostly matters to these people.

If we can still be internet buddies, I'm gonna keep it real with you, friend. This is your whiteness that had faith in the first place. Blacks, browns, women, gays, and queers were born under the boot and we've largely never immediately anticipated the light of day.
The decisive test of our society in my lifetime was the 2024 election and our failure was spectacular and total. I will never again have any faith in the American electorate to do the obviously right thing.
