Chuck Schumer Needs To Go
The Democratic Senate leader has lost the thread. Everyone is suffering because of his lack of judgment.

Senate Ds decided they weren't going to get anything from the shutdown, looked at the calendar, and decided it was better to get nothing and end it now than risk the same outcome after Thanksgiving or Christmas because they worried about midterms ads about them ruining the holidays

Cortez Masto, Rosen, and Hassan are the big story here. Everyone else who voted yes is either retiring, Tim Kaine (reps a state with lots of government workers), or John Fetterman (went insane a couple years ago)

yup!
So Democrats get:
1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays
2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail
3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts
Those all seem like wins for the GOP.

a lot of people on here complain about Trump not getting the Biden treatment but this stuff gets way more mainstream attention now than it did at the equivalent point in Biden’s term
Images of Donald Trump appearing to close his eyes at an Oval Office announcement this week rocketed around social media this weekend, with the president’s opponents seizing on the footage to raise questions about Trump’s on-the-job performance.

Trump Has One Mission: To Make Your Life Hell
Tuesday’s elections should have been a wake-up call for Republicans. Instead, the administration is responding in the only way it knows how: causing more misery for millions of Americans.
