I think the comments on here about Dems blowing the midterms are pretty misguided and that there's little reason to think that's going to happen. But the random people on here aren't the only people prognosticating about the midterms unfortunately

the deal just passed. Schumer encouraged it the whole time and kept his hands clean. it wasn’t made up and Schumer waved it along. the ambiguity is because that’s how this kind of reporting works. I don’t like it but it’s legit

It’s not really clear the shutdown helped anyone. It certainly hurt a lot of people. It boosted some Dems in races they should have won anyways. If you’re on Obamacare you’re in limbo for another month. What a mess

Johnson will have another R to cancel out Grijalva in a month! maybe he can keep the Epstein stuff under wraps until then but it’s not a reason to keep things closed indefinitely

he gave significantly fewer press conferences than any of his recent predecessors because he was too old to handle them! it’s not a mark in his favor, he was hidden from view

I think they are both old as hell and that there are plenty of examples of them being old as hell in both presidencies! It’s not hard to see now and it wasn’t then either. My god are you unpleasant
