I have seen a lot of 'dont comment on women's bodies' etc posts about the Wicked press & i generally agree but the normalisation and celebration of ever-shrinking forms is being blasted into the retinas of thousands of young girls across the world & that is also bad

I woke up about an hour ago from a dream I can't remember but feel telling me that I don't matter. And reality is so harshly reflecting that right now.

I've been getting so much criticism for not being physically present this year while actively trying to reemerge after years of criticism for "not doing anything" while my loved ones kept dying and folks I'd given my heart to abandoned me bc I was doing my best to keep it together

I wish I had died in 2019. It's been horrible waking up from the fog of grief to no one, no community, and the realization of how much you've compromised to survive, and that the folks who were meant to hold you never, ever actually cared

When I was 16, one of the administrators at my brother's high school made an offer to my mother to pay for my college, to give me a house, to "take care of me," and give my parents at least one grandson; he was in his late fifties.
