I turned 34 three weeks ago and several people have asked me “how it feels.” I’m not sure I feel much different than i did a month ago, but I did start watching Ken Burns’ Baseball and that probably answers their question.

I feel like many of the things mentioned like “achieve financial independence” and “owning a home” are not necessarily more or less important than things like marriage and having kids, but necessary steps towards them. I wanted to have those things first because I saw them as pre-requisites
