#4 - TMNT: Back from the Sewers. This time it’s a nice, 45 minute game. I enjoy the mix of side scrolling a more open beat-em-up levels, and they added more animations + backgrounds. The jump flips feel very good and impressive for just 3 sprites.

#2 - Life is Strange: True Colors. I loved the first LiS and the few times I tried other games in the series, they didn’t click with me. This one very much did, I enjoyed the characters + plot and felt like the drama and fun of ones’ mid 20s came through strong.

Games I finished in 2025 #1 - Wario Land 4. I loved this game as a kid and it was nice to enjoy it even more 20 years later. Imaginative and tightly designed, every level introduces something memorable. I didn’t realize how much the music from this got me into genres like jazz, R&B, and disco.
