Alaskan, Orwell was right, amateur historian, real retired person just sick over what’s happening.

I really cannot imagine going to all the trouble of getting elected to the Senate only to get there and decide not to stand up for healthcare, or democracy, or people’s ability to afford their lives. If those things aren’t worth fighting for, then truly what is?

Dems. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

Back from vacation and to what?? Dems caved again. This is why I’m an independent. I hate both these parties. Alaskans don’t change the open primaries we have or they will control who runs. This is our only chance to have alternatives. If anyone decent ever wants to put themselves into such a mess.

The Commissioner of DNR resigned or was he told to? No loss for Alaska. #akleg stop confirming people who don’t care about Alaska. Will we have better people? Maybe after the election IF we get a better Governor. Your vote counts.

If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.

Along with the food, there could be voter registration and links to runforsomething.net

Care for us? True indeed! They ne’er car’d for us yet. Suffer us to famish, and their store-houses cramm’d with grain; make edicts for usury, to support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act establish’d against the rich, and provide more piercing statutes daily to chain up and restrain the poor.

the democratic party’s basic problem is it has almost no control over how its message reaches the ears of voters, especially outside of presidential election years. but rather than devote serious time, attention and cash to that problem its consultants and pundits want to fight factional battles

This is real. OMG. The 50s and 60s were awful for many white people most of this was propaganda back then as well. I for one ain’t going back. I couldn’t get a credit card as a woman without a husband to sign for it. And I do remember job ads listed for men or for women. This is real!!
I can’t qWHITE figure out what’s wrong here.

These folks have all been displaced from their homes. And winter is upon us. There’s no way to clear the homes of salt water, sewage, petroleum, etc and clear the mess as the remote areas make it difficult to get equipment in. Over 20 communities are affected. Help if you can.

Dog evacuations continue from Western Alaska villages hit hard by remnants of Typhoon Halong
As evacuees from villages like Kipnuk, Kwigillingok, Nightmute and Tuntutuliak boarded military helicopters bound for safety, many had no choice but to leave their dogs behind.
