Once again, I'd like to say that Jim O'Neill (the guy speaking at the beginning of this clip) is a weird freak.
BREAKING

The Trump administration says it has frozen all childcare payments to Minnesota in the aftermath of allegations of fraud by some in the Somali community.

Important: allegations along these lines have existed for years, which has resulted in prosecutions starting with the Biden DOJ.

the tweet about how being a billionaire is like a daily kick in the head from a horse is unironically a key political belief and guiding principle of mine at this point
We underrate the degree to which wealth and wealth inequality just fry some peoples’ brains. Monarchists, the longevity guy, founder worship, whatever the hell this is…
Telegram founder Pavel Durov says he will cover IVF costs for women under 37 who want to use his donated sperm, and has promised his offspring a share of his fortune.

Polling suggests Israel is historically unpopular in the demographic corresponding with people likely to have small children, so I need someone smarter than me to explain how picking a fight with Ms. Rachel of all people makes any sense whatsoever. nypost.com/2025/12/26/o...

It rocks because a) it was his not Kamala’s campaign promise that the Files would be released, b) he is mad that this is biting him in the ass in a way that among other things diverts resources from his election rigging schemes, and c) he repeatedly said that his “friends” are the ones in the Files
“The DOJ is forced to spend all of its time …?” My orange Dude: If the DOJ did what was ordered, all they’d have to do is put the boxes of files on a truck and drive them over to the committee. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Real "oh my god, she admit it" moment here. Trump is treated as an uninteresting figure without agency so we can dump endless criticism on liberals for how they react to his "natural disaster." He "doesn't participate in moral frameworks" lmfao

wrong. living in New York City is about frantically swiping your metrocard as your train arrives, repeatedly getting an error, and in the span of a half second evaluating whether you still have the athleticism to jump a turnstile. if you don’t like that then move to fucking Boston.
the amount of sad you should feel about the retirement of the NYC Metrocard should be like “mildly wistful pre-nostalgia” — more than that, IMO, is kinda silly

MAGA folks and their dreams of dictatorship are so boring. But I guess it shows how desperate they're getting, and how much they know they're losing.

Half the people in this administration couldn’t get a security clearance under normal circumstances lol
Border czar Tom Homan didn't receive a normal background check for his role while his bribery probe was still ongoing:

Justice officials felt sure Homan would not be able to obtain a security clearance based on the evidence gathered. It remains unclear how Homan was eventually granted clearance.

President-elect Trump initially balked at submitting names of likely nominees to the FBI for background checks, a basic step intended to flag possible financial conflicts or ethical problems.

once again, and i am serious, if you took a class from wurman, you should demand a refund
“Birthright subjectship only applied if your parents were under the protection of the sovereign, and if your parents had come unlawfully, without invitation... without safe conduct, they would not have been under the protection of the sovereign,” Wurman said.
