Alongside Dr. Ganguli-Mitra, the postholder will develop a project related to epistemic and structural injustice in abortion care, informed by intersectional and transnational feminist approaches, as well as relevant data from practice, governance and activism in relation to care in abortion.

⚠️ Women in the UK don’t need to be told what danger looks like — we live it every day.

⛔ One woman is killed by a man every three days in this country (Femicide Census, 2023)

⛔ In 2023, 1.7 million women experienced domestic abuse (ONS, 2023).

It is not trans people who perpetrate these crimes.

We moved to the UK partly because we felt that the discussions, attitudes and structures around race were more evolved that on the continent. I still strongly believe that.
Yesterday we had our stairwell painted with the N word with bicycle oil.
Thanks political greed and populism.

This, exactly this.
there’s going to be decades of feminist critique of ‘operation sindoor’- not just for its gendered imagery & coopting (‘historic move, 2 female Hindu & Muslim officers lead briefing on war!’) but for the absolute bulshittery this whole thing is.

No body could have realised....right?
How epistemic injustice in research kills:

This essay (www.lrb.co.uk/the-paper/v4...) reminds us: When the excuse for bad research is "‘Nobody could have realised..." we should always respond with "Really – nobody?"

"The other side of a culture of silence and silencing is one of not listening.
