Après 3 ans d’attente, j’ai enfin un médecin de famille à domicile! 🥳
…mais plutôt qu’être soulagée, je ressens de l’anxiété, voire de la peur… gracieuseté d’années de trauma médical.
Je ne réalisais pas jusqu’à récemment l’impact que cette accumulation d’interactions problématiques a eu sur moi… 😔

Many people think stopping SNAP will cause chaos & that it’s the plan, especially just in time for Thanksgiving… now add the flights being reduced, on top of so many not being paid… yeah, seems like a crisis created on purpose. Sadly I don’t think *knowing* that helps much when you can’t eat. 😔

In the doctor’s office, I wear my N95 and find that people who enter maskless & see me then pick up a mask at reception. When people without masks are sitting near the door, people continue unmasked.

One of the many injustices in not masking in healthcare is that family members and patients are watching us (HCWs) and following our lead. 7/10 times if I’m the first person they see on my unit (in a 3M Aura), family members ask for a mask.
