Absolutely this. Gobsmacked.
Horrific, stupid news from @uniofnottingham.bsky.social — they are closing their music department. Apparently they all found out suddently in a meeting yesterday.

It is one of the best music departments in the country — solidarity with my colleagues and their students

I will be sad to see Michael D go. He has been instrumental in setting the tone of discourse in this country. I'm hopeful Catherine Connolly will do the same continuing the legacy of thoughtful presidents who above all value human beings and our shared connection and experience #Spéirgorm #Áras25

Very much this! Been a permanent (and tax!) resident in RoI for 15 years. Wife and kids born here. Am able to (and do) vote in general elections but STILL not allowed to vote in presidential elections or referanda.
It would be way more important for non-Irish citizens who reside here in Ireland permanently to have a vote. I'm here over 30 years and not once was I able to cast a vote in a general or presidential election.

Caught the superb #LeeMillar exhibition at #TateBritain #artsky last week. Startling images from her war correspondent years have stayed with me. In a world, currently overwhelmed with disinformation journalism has a duty to bear witness to what is actually happening so it cannot ever be denied.
