And one is a couple hundred dollars a year and the other is many thousands. They both get what they want out of it but unfortunately the country is too big to just camp out in parks and see who can ball.
Exactly. I have one kid that plays church league and YMCA sports and has fun and it’s competitive enough for their level. I have another that plays for one of the biggest soccer clubs in a major metro area and has played coast to coast. Guess which one is in the US Soccer database.
he’s talking about travel ball I assume not house leagues — Little League baseball in a small town where dad coaches and no one keeps score will always be a thing. Competitive sport training when a kid is like 12 is now its own high dollar industry

There’s two answers. If you know they live in the metro area you tell them what city in metro you live in. If they are out of state you say you live in Atlanta because it’s easier than explaining where Tucker is. If they ask what part of Atlanta revert to answer one
Am about to move to Georgia in the next few weeks, what is the proper way identify where you live when you're in the 'burbs? to outsiders i assume metro-Atlanta would be easiest. town name? county? something else?
