Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss is trying to get another year from the NCAA.

If he can't, though, the former DII sensation is going to be a really intriguing draft prospect. If this roll continues, maybe even a day two guy.

Keith Jackson is the college football GOAT and there'll be no discussion about that.

HOWEVER, Sean McDonough has long been on my CFB mount rushmore if for no other reason than I promise you A LOT of the college HCs cannot stand him because he's the only guy in a booth that calls out their shit

that looked like the Indiana OL I thought should've won the Joe Moore Award

We're suddenly not talking about the layoff being a problem since Indiana, the better team, is up 17-0.
CFP teams on byes are 0-6, but the betting favorite is 4-2 overall (5-1 if you take the opening line).

Maybe the better teams are just winning these games.

the College Football Final Four needs better branding ... not saying it should be called the Final Four as that works well for basketball and all but, like, some type of name would be nice?
January 1, 2026 at 8:28 PM
elite branding here

Laloulou is a good center but he has not seen anything like this Tech front all year and, like the rest of Oregon's OL, things aren't going well

big-time throw from Dante Moore there and then a shit show snap

thousand percent agree
This imo is the beauty of the playoff. Requires more creativity and accountability on the eventual champion.
January 1, 2026 at 5:55 PM
seeing a touch of what we saw last night imo from Oregon here -- Ducks plan all year has been to simply out-talent and out-execute everyone across from them ... the stuff they run doesn't change. Ohio State does the same thing.

Miami and Texas Tech are too good defensively for that. Have to adjust
January 1, 2026 at 5:51 PM
stop running the ball at Lee Hunter, ffs
January 1, 2026 at 5:49 PM
not breaking any news here but Texas Tech's roster (Miami's, too) spending plan for this season is what everyone should be copying if they aren't already

buy the best front seven you can possibly afford and if you think you have enough buy one more
