There is something wonderful going on in #Pluribus on #Appletv. It’s under the surface and it’s dealing with a lot of fundamentals relating to what it is to be human and what it is to be yourself. It never states what is going on but it’s there all the same. Love it.

Easy one for me Stephen Donaldson’s Gap Cycle or his Thomas Covenant books.
OK, less contentious post:

You've been placed in charge of a movie studio, and have an unlimited budget to adapt any work of your choosing that has never been made into a live-action TV series or film. What are you picking?

For me: PC Hodgell's Kencyrath Cycle and there's no close second

My attitude as I got older is precisely this.
The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.

Season 2 of #landman is more Dallas than serious drama but almost every episode has a moment that really hits you hard. Disliking the way the women are relegated mostly to sex kitten or bitch archetypes.
The men however have wider ranges in the scripts.

the faux-AI evangelists see the artistic process as a race to get to a finished product, instead of something valuable in itself. the process is where you develop those skills you don't have yet, it cannot be skipped, it is where the art happens
I have grown to believe that excessive wealth does something to your brain that is analogous to a serious head injury

Day 13 of #dreadcember and I’m never going to get invited to these ever again . Sigh. Look, real friends would have taken my iPad away a long time ago. CW: #hentai like only the 90s could deliver. #darkart

I been wondering what Bruce Straley was doing.
In 2017, Last of Us director Bruce Straley quit Naughty Dog following the release of Uncharted 4. He has stayed out of the games spotlight ever since. Now for the first time since then, Straley told me why exactly he quit and how his new studio came together. www.polygon.com/bruce-strale...

Through snow slowly trod
The two of them homeward bound"

So I think Bugonia might be a 10 out of 10 movie. Weird af though. Probably need to watch it again for the full experience to sink in.

Been mulling over what I think about #Destinythegame s new expansion. As a Star Wars knock off it it good but as a Destiny expansion something is missing. Loved the vehicle sequences, felt like Halo. The exotic mission mid campaign was misplaced. Think EoF was a better experience.

Movie you've watched more than six time with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (either War or Trek), LOTR, or Marvel.
