I watched #Avatarfireandash yesterday and even though I enjoyed it very much it felt like it was retreading ground already covered in the previous movies. No doubt technically amazing but story structure was rushed and felt cobbled together.

So S2 of Landman finished on a happy note. Too happy and quite concise. Hope S3 is better and more like S1. They need to kill off another character to add some spice.

Nice work.
This is the last of four abstracts I did on textured canvas. All experimental, but I was pleased with the results.

When I started drawing again in 2019 or 2020 I did portraits more than anything else. It’s my strongest art skill I think. I have now moved to more esoteric and original art and it’s very difficult but I enjoy the creativity so much more. Never too late to try something new.

I love looking at the traditional art category cos you can see people at all stages of development in their art and it’s inspiring that they feel so confident in posting here. It might even be a safe space.

I have this really large amount of black and it was time to try to use it. I have learned that when I use black or white, I just need to get fresh water when I want to swap back to lighter colors. :D

A great way to practice diluting the color to get the light shades! :D

This kingfisher took absolutely everything out of me — 23.5 hours of work! As one of my favorite birds, I just had to capture its stunning turquoise plumage in wool.

They lie. And lie. And lie.
Reform told you reducing council tax was easy. They just had to slash Woke policies, and a billion or two would be saved. They wouldn't even need to close care services.

They promise you that.

And then every single Reform-led council cut care services and increased council tax.

I started rewatching Banshee a tv show from 13 years ago. I’m looking at the main guy Antony Starr and wondering what he has done since this show. Had to IMDB of course and found he is Homelander from The Boys. He did alright that lad didn’t he.

I thought Handmaids Tale nailed it. The middle part of the last season almost made me quit but the last 3 episodes and the last one especially acknowledged the journey we had all been on along with June.
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

What's the *best* ending to a show you've ever seen? Quote/reply etc
