Today I announced an agreement between Washington state, Oregon, and British Columbia to renew and strengthen our partnership.

Together, the Cascadia region will address housing affordability, invest in clean energy, and create the conditions for long-term economic growth.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

"Artificial" intelligence is a dangerous misnomer. It is automated human intelligence, and the more we rely on it, the more degraded the "inputs" will become, trapping us in a cycle of intellectual impoverishment where both humans and the machines get dumber

15 years ago the Supreme Court decided corporations are people under the First Amendment.

Today, sold-out politicians block progress on all fronts to appease their corporate donors.

Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day.

Imagine being Dominic Canzone right now. You're hitting .314/.357/.686 for a 156 wRC+ (3rd in the PCL min 100 PAs). Robles and Raley are out with long term injuries. And still the Mariners won't let you start over Leody Taveras. In fact, they absorbed his $3.25mil salary rather than promote you.

I am learning that Canzone is maybe unavailable tonight, but point still stands. Solano has had 8 PAs since the trade deadline (4-8 with a 2B, 1 R, 1 RBI).
Since April 26, Donovan Solano is hitting, .311/.361/.434 (.795 OPS) for a 130 wRC+. Not sure why we're forcing Dylan Moore and Mitch Garver into this lineup and not him.

Since June 7 Cole Young has posted a 118 wRC+. There are 23 players who have had at least 100 PAs as a second baseman since June 7, and Cole Young ranks 7th by wRC+. As a rookie, he's currently playing as the 7th best regular second baseman in the league, by offense.

Cole Young did it again. 113.4 EV exactly on a 470 ft HR tonight. Dude has huge ceiling.
In just 140 PAs, Cole Young's MaxEV is 113.4, 88 percentile in MLB. Some players who have never hit a ball as hard as Young has in the Statcast era:

Bryan Reynolds
Mitch Garver
Tyler O'Neil
Nick Castellanos
Jose Altuve
Kris Bryant
Mitch Haniger
Cody Bellinger
Eugenio Suárez
Willy Adames
