They are making it impossible to host information online and drying up resources. Stop defending and supporting these malicious entities.
Open knowledge sharing AND copyright are both under siege. Whether you are for one or the other doesn't matter.

This works for games, too. When you remove the excess profit element, a game like WoW could exist at is current size with like 10-20% of its playerbase.

It's incredible having been watching mainly the visual artists space for years and been seeing how automated t-shirt/merch bots would steal their work and slap it on a t-shirt etc. back in 2019-2020. And now to see the same thing happening with gAI knockoffs of whole books and videos after release.
